Twineo Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 15, 2025
Introduction
Twineo is a platform that helps you earn rewards by training your own Personal Digital Twin that learns and understands your opinions and preferences. Once trained, your Digital Twin completes surveys, answers questions and performs other paid tasks on your behalf.
You train your Digital Twin by sharing information about yourself through voice interviews, quick polls, surveys and by giving feedback on how your Digital Twin responds to questions. You choose what information to share to train your Twin and which topics your Twin responds to. The more you train your Twin, the more accurate your Twin becomes. Higher accuracy means your Twin is capable of answering more questions, potentially increasing your earning potential over time.
Twineo is designed to give you full control:
You decide what your Twin knows about you
You approve what types of tasks it completes on your behalf
And you always have the option to update, correct or delete your data
We believe your attention, ideas and opinions have real value — and you deserve to be rewarded for them. By participating in Twineo, you're helping build a fairer, more human-centered data economy in the AI era.
We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data — and the rights and choices you have at every step.
Twineo is operated by:
OV Labs LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom.

What this notice covers
This notice applies when you:

It explains:
The personal data we may collect from you
How and why we use your data
The limited circumstances in which we may share your data

Personal data we collect
The data you choose to share with us powers your Digital Twin
When you sign up to Twineo and start training your Digital Twin, you choose what information to share about yourself.
Your Digital Twin represents you and answers questions on your behalf. The more you share about yourself, the more knowledge your Digital Twin has. The more knowledge your Digital Twin has, the more capable it is to accurately answer questions on your behalf.
It's completely up to you how much information you provide. You can:
Answer as much or as little as you like
Change your mind or update your data at any time
While some basic information is required to create a Twineo account (like your name, email, and country), the rest is your choice. The more your Twin knows about you — your habits, interests, opinions and lifestyle — the better it will work for you.
Data you provide directly:
When you use Twineo, you may share information such as:
Contact details: name, email address, country, referral code
Demographic info: age, gender, household size, occupation
Sensitive data (optional): health, financial attitudes, mental wellbeing, lifestyle preferences
Voice/audio recordings: during voice interviews for Twin training
Twin feedback: corrections or clarifications you provide to improve your Twin's responses
Survey/task responses: answers you provide yourself through polls, interviews or paid surveys
Data we collect automatically:
When you use the platform, we automatically collect:
Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system
Usage data: pages visited, time spent, features used
How and why we use your personal data
Our use of personal data
Twineo uses the data you choose to share with us — or that we collect through your activity on the platform — to create the best possible experience for you, and to provide anonymised insights for brands and organisations.
This is the foundation of how Twineo works:
You train your Digital Twin with information about yourself
Your Digital Twin can then complete tasks, answering questions and earning rewards on your behalf
We generate aggregated, anonymised insights based on many users to help organisations understand trends, opinions and behaviours
Without your data, none of this is possible. Nevertheless, you are always in control of what you share.
Our legal basis for using your data
Most of the time, we process your personal data because it is necessary for our legitimate interests as a business — namely:
To operate the Twineo platform
To power your Digital Twin
To generate research insights for our clients (always aggregated and anonymised)
To reward you for your participation
These legitimate interests are balanced against your privacy rights — and we have designed Twineo to give you full control over your data and participation.
When we rely on your consent
We will ask for your clear, informed consent before:
Using special categories of data (as described above)
Sharing personal data with our clients or partners
Collecting specific types of data from you (and we would always make clear at the time we ask for consent which data are involved and the purposes those data would be used for)
You can withdraw your consent at any time in your account settings or by contacting us at hello@originalvoices.ai.
When we process data to fulfil our contract with you
Some data processing is necessary to deliver the core Twineo service — for example:
Creating and managing your account
Enabling your Digital Twin to perform tasks
Delivering rewards to you via Runa.io
Responding to support requests
This processing is necessary to provide the Twineo service you signed up for.
What we don't do
We never:
Share your individual, identifiable data with brands or clients
Sell your Twin training data
Allow your Digital Twin to operate without your consent, oversight or control
Special categories of data
Some of the data you may choose to share — such as health information or financial perspectives — is considered "special category" data under the law.
We will always request your clear, explicit consent before collecting this kind of data. You can change your mind and withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
Use of AI and Large Language Models
To power your Digital Twin and improve the Twineo experience, we use advanced AI systems known as large language models (LLMs). These models help us:
Conduct voice-based interviews
Generate and summarise answers generated by your Digital Twin
Extract and identify relevant insights from answers you give
Match you and/or your Digital Twin with relevant tasks
We currently use models provided by OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic, and may evaluate or use others in the future. These models process your data securely and are only used to support the features you've actively chosen to use.
Your data is never used to train these third-party models. We do not share identifiable personal data directly with these providers unless it is necessary for the specific function (e.g. transcription or summarisation), and we ensure contracts are in place to protect your data and comply with data protection laws.
You're always in control of how your Digital Twin is trained, what tasks it performs, and what kinds of insights it helps create.
Who we may share your personal data with
Aggregated and anonymised insights only
We never share your individual data with brands or clients.
They only ever receive anonymised insights based on groups of users — not identifiable information.
Trusted service providers
We work with a small number of partners who help us operate Twineo directly. These include:
Runa.io — to deliver your rewards (cash, gift cards, donations)
CPX — for access to third-party paid surveys
Kairos — for verifying your identity and eligibility
These providers only receive the data they need to perform their services and are required to protect it in line with data protection laws.
How we store and protect your personal data
We take your security seriously. Measures we use include:
Encrypted storage of sensitive data
Secure servers with access controls
Regular security reviews and updates
Limiting access to employees or partners who need it
We only keep your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined here or to meet legal requirements. You can request deletion at any time.
Emails and notifications
We may contact you via email, SMS, push notification or other methods to:
Invite you to participate in new tasks or surveys (Twin Training Tasks and/or Paid Tasks)
Let you know your Twin has completed a task
Update you about your rewards
Share important changes to the platform or this policy
You can manage your notification preferences at any time in your account settings.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and tracking tools to:
